WHAT TYPICAL DISHES WE CAN ENJOY IN THESE HAWKERS CENTER?
The most typical dishes of the Chinese - Cantonese cuisine of Singapore are the Baan Mian (noodle soup with vegetables, seitan dumplings, mushrooms and egg), Char kway teow (sautéed noodles with all kinds of condiments and varieties), Chai tow kway (radishes cake sautéed with eggs), Hookien Mee (fried noodles with shrimp), Char Siew Rice (fried rice with pork), Char Siew Noodles (fried noodles with pork). This type of food has achieved one of the highest international awards being awarded the restaurants Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle and Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodles with one of the famous Michelin stars.
